Editors 'transform' Surrey County Council's intranet

In December 2008, Jellymould were asked by Avi Soudak at Jamkit to provide content editing services for a major reorganisation of Surrey County Council’s intranet.

Jellymould’s editors Harriet Powney and Huw Molseed began by consulting with Surrey County Council’s human resources policy advisor. They then restructured the existing human resources pages and policies to make them easier to use, and re-wrote where appropriate with more accessible language.

The result is a far more customer-focused intranet, accomplished to very tight deadlines.

If you are interested in a similar project, please get in touch.

I just wanted to thank you both for your amazing work and the way you so quickly understood our content and turned it into something more meaningful. I know from feedback that people have been really impressed with what this project has produced, with the Head of HR actually using the term “transformational” for an early draft…

I hope I am lucky enough to work with you both again in the future.

For one of my projects, Jo Johnson at Jellymould assembled and briefed a team of editors. She  choose well and prepared them well. She knew when to get involved and when to let people get on with it. I’d work with her again in a snap.
